Emploshield Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within its business operations and supply chains. This Modern Slavery Policy Statement outlines the steps Emploshield Limited takes to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking does not occur in our operations or supply chains.
Our Commitment
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labour. Emploshield Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to these practices. We are dedicated to acting ethically, with integrity, and in compliance with the law to uphold human rights.
Our Structure and Operations
Emploshield Limited operates in the human resources management and administrative support industry for temporary workers and works with suppliers and partners worldwide. We understand the importance of ensuring ethical practices at every level, especially in high-risk areas of our supply chain.
Policies to Prevent Modern Slavery
To combat modern slavery, we have implemented the following policies:
- Modern Slavery Policy: A clear statement outlining our commitment to ethical practices.
- Anti-money laundering (AML), Anti-bribery, and Anti-corruption policy: Our commitment to preventing money laundering, bribery, and corruption in all forms and sets out the expectations for our employees, directors, contractors, suppliers and third-party partners.
- Whistleblowing Policy: A safe channel for employees and stakeholders to report unethical or illegal behaviour.
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
We conduct regular assessments and according our Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy of our supply chains to identify and mitigate risks. Measures include:
- Vetting new suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with ethical labour practices.
- Performing audits and evaluations of high-risk suppliers.
- Including anti-slavery clauses in supplier contracts.
Training and Awareness
We provide training to employees, especially those involved in procurement and supplier management, to help them:
- Recognise signs of modern slavery.
- Understand reporting mechanisms for potential concerns.
Monitoring and Approval
We continuously review our practices and policies to ensure effectiveness in combating modern slavery. Key performance indicators, such as the number of supplier audits conducted and training sessions delivered, are regularly evaluated.
This Modern Slavery Policy Statement will be reviewed by the Company Director on a regular basis (at least annually) and may be amended from time to time.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Emploshield Limited´s Modern Slavery Statement for the financial year 2024/2025.
